Homework Assignments

I do not believe in overwhelming students with homework.  At the fourth grade level, students work very hard every day.  Once they leave school, they should not have hours of extra work to do.  However, homework is a necessary part of education.  Therefore, my students will have certain homework requirements and expectations.

    Students will read at least 20 minutes each evening and record the information on their reading log.  They will be using the information each day in class.

  Study spelling and math facts at home for a few minutes each evening.

          Occasionally, students will have other required assignments.  When this happens, it will be recorded on the weekly Announcements, Reminders, and Homework sheet students will receive at the beginning of the week.
